Biography

Madball has been influenced by every genre of music throughout his life.  At the age of 7 he got a pair of Rydell roller skates and made the Wallington Skating Rink in New Jersey, his second home.  For the next eight years he attended the morning, afternoon, and night sessions at the skating rink making him a “rink rat.” The music played there consumed him.  At thirteen years old he got his first drum set and began his musical journey into heavy metal, hardcore, thrash, and rock bands.  His first house music experience was in 1994 when he used a fake id to gain entry into a famous Manhattan club called “Limelight” for a legendary weekday party.  The house music bug hadn’t bitten him yet because the BOOM, BOOM, BOOM sound did not resonate with him. Being open minded in 1996 he decided to try another club in NYC called The Tunnel (an 18 & up party).  This time he was ready to receive the frequency of house music.  For the following three years he became a regular at the dopest NYC clubs including: The Tunnel, Soundfactory, Twilo, and Vinyl.  In 1999 he finally sold his drum set to buy a used mixer and turntables. From that day forward house music became his life.  Between the years of 1999-2004 he did small gigs, opening and closing throughout the tristate area.  During this time, his job as a buyer for a South Jersey record store, gave him an edge on new releases.  This advantage allowed him to bring new vinyl to the studios and homes of big name DJ’s such as Jonathan Peters, Boris, and  DJ Skribble.  He started producing in 2002 and relocated to Las Vegas in 2004. There he built a loyal after-hours following doing guest spots all over Vegas shaking rooms from weekend to weekend. His most celebrated past residencies were: Seamless after-hours ,Empire Ball Room, Exposed, Prive Planet hollywood, Curfew after-hours, Soulzburry after-hours, Obsession after-hours, and OSSUM’S after-hours. His first track titled, “Release Your Emotions” was released on Beatport in 2006. He continues remixing and releasing original jams year after years. Currently you can find his music out on Beatport, Traxsource, and ITunes. Madball continues to work hard in Las Vegas 24/7 making underground house music.
